Scam MyCare.scot Text Messages

We are aware of scam (smishing) text messages circulating that falsely claim to be from MyCare.scot, often using urgent language or encouraging people to “sign up”.

These messages are not legitimate and are not associated with NHS Scotland or MyCare.scot.

MyCare.scot does not send unsolicited sign‑up or urgent medical messages by text.

If you receive a suspicious message:

  • Do not click any links or respond
  • Forward the text to 7726 to report it
  • Delete the message
