Cervical Screening – See My Health

See My Health launched Thursday 12th March, it is a free online resource aiming to help patients prepare for cervical screening.

It provides accessible information and support for patients who need extra help with appointments.

• Anyone who needs accessible health information: 
• People with intellectual disabilities
• Patient’s whose first language is not English
• People anxious about medical appointments
• Anyone who finds health information difficult to understand.

What’s included:

• Easy-to-understand information about screening
• Tools to identify and overcome barriers
• Templates to request accommodations
• Anxiety management resources
• Information patients can input in advance and share during appointments using visual prompts/reminders 
• A “Stop” button patient can press during appointments if they need a break and struggle to verbalise this
